INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS:
A gift of cash allows you to receive an income tax deduction and enables you to help meet the immediate needs of families in your community. Gifts of cash may be pledged and fulfilled over a period of time.

MEMORIAL AND HONOR GIFTS
Many individuals and families who have been helped or have been touched by someone in need wish to give to The Harvey Bernhardt Foundation. Some make ongoing contributions in memory of a loved one. To commemorate special occasions, in Honor gifts are a thoughtful way to observe a loved one’s birthday, anniversary, a special occasion, or other important event.
Contributions given in memory or in honor of a loved one can be made by cash or check. Please include the names and addresses of family members you would like us to notify.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many employers have matching gift programs through which your generosity to The Harvey Bernhardt Foundation can be multiplied. Please obtain the appropriate form from your company’s personnel office and include it with your gift.

ALTERNATIVE GIVING
There are ways you can support The Harvey Bernhardt Foundation mission that also may help you reduce taxes, provide for your family and increase your income. Check with your attorney and/or financial advisor to determine if planned giving should be an option for you and your family.

You may wish to help support us through a bequest, which is a gift left in your will. These gifts could be a particular item or dollar amount and can include tangible personal property, securities, or what remains after you have provided for your survivors.

SUPPORT AN EVENT
Participate in a Harvey Bernhardt Foundation fund raising event. We offer two major events per year.  Harvey's March Hoopla held in March is a celebration of college basketball and a reverse raffle.  The Harvey Bernhardt Foundation Golf Tournament is held each fall at Deerwood Country Club.  For more information, contact us at hbfoundation@comcast.net

VOLUNTEER
We always are looking for volunteers to help with our events and with projects throughout the year.  Volunteers are the core of our foundation and keep it running.  Without volunteers, we would not be able to be successful.  To volunteer, please contact Monica Bernhardt at hbfoundation@comcast.net.
